Remember opening a brand new pack of crayons as a child? The fragrance of new art supplies? That sensory experience drove the creative process as we redesigned the Prang brand. Like kids in a candy shop, we dug deep into the brand identity, logo, packaging and custom illustration, then carried the branding through to eCommerce, advertising and social media.
No other children’s art brand shows the user and the products in such a fun and vibrant way.
We created this engaging and impactful campaign with modular parts - showcasing the user, the product and an inspiring art piece - all with a colorful backdrop. Then we added hand-sketched elements to pump up the fun factor. These branded pieces are sure to make a lasting impression.
Our redesign of this brand packaging was inspired by the process of art creation, unique textures and a full spectrum of vibrant color.
We created detailed illustrations that capture the unique characteristics of each product as well as custom illustrations to give each package its own unique look while adding to the sensory experience of the art making process.
Important details like back of pack & icon development
Our design sensibility includes considering all the details of a brand and how all the pieces fit together on a package. The back of packs not only hold important product information, but also carry over the vibrant texture from the front of pack.
Hundreds of Icons were developed to convey a quick read of product benefits.
We made shopping for art supplies FUN.
The new branded look and feel was carried over to the Prang Amazon store front. From creating shoppable images to art directing product photography and creating custom paper craft artwork, we crafted every part of this eCommerce experience to make shopping easy, fun and unforgettable.

We created five fun and original, custom paper art pieces to showcase Prang’s new line of construction paper. Designed to be used seasonally, each craft will be rotated throughout the year to provide inspiration for young artists and paper lovers.
